Territory Specialist

**An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive medical sales professional with ambition and high energy to join our **Diabetes Team** as a **Territory Specialist**.***:
**This role is responsible for the promotion of our life changing technology to Health Care Professionals in Melbourne** South & Tasmania***:
**Your responsibilities include (and not limited to)**:

- ** Maintaining a high level of competence in FreeStyle Libre (and its digital products platform) competitor products disease states and industry compliance**:

- ** Demonstrating proficiency in tools of the trade, processes and policies**:

- ** Developing sales action plans in line with the marketing strategy and evaluate and track the implementation of these on an ongoing basis**:

- ** Planning, executing and analysing sales calls to create call-continuity with customers**:

- ** Promoting value-add services that improve the quality of care available to patients and creating solutions to meet customer needs**:

- ** Diagnosing and tracking key customer and competitor performance regularly**:

- ** Collaborating with the broader Abbott team to identify new opportunities***:
**Who we’re looking for**:

- ** Tertiary qualification in a Science discipline is essential**:

- ** Relevant industry experience (both Primary Care and Hospital) in medical devices, however, strong customer facing experience as a pharmacist will be highly regarded**:

- ** Proven track record in delivering sales targets with demonstrated proficiency with selling skills in a sales framework is advantageous**:

- ** Business acumen and analytical skills**:

- ** Customer-centric mindset, active listening, genuine empathy and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer focused service to internal and external customers**:

- ** Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information**:

- ** Initiative and pro-activity to develop account strategies and challenge the status quo whilst identifying new business opportunity***:
