Plan, Maintain and Improve

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious **Boilermaker/Maintenance Fitter **to join our Maintenance team. This role will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with the Maintenance Scheduler/Planner, Concrete Plant Managers, Maintenance staff and Contractors to support **Sydney Metro** operations.
Maintenance works may range from programmed maintenance schedules, shutdowns, reactive maintenance tasks, which will encompass minor fabrication, organisation of resources and supervising and conducting repairs. This role will support and ensure work is done proficiently, within commercial time frames, and in adherence to Hanson policies and directives.

**In your new role, you will**:

- Ensure all plant and equipment is operating well within the statutory requirements
- Ensure concrete plants are adequately maintained
- Ensure adequate records are maintained and report all incidents
- Advise on improvements that can be made to maintenance tasks and processes or plant performance
- Ensure stock levels of components and consumables are maintained to support the Scheduled/Planned work
- Aid and assist the construction team in upgrades and developments at concrete plants within the metropolitan area
