**The opportunity**

Vacenti is seeking a part-time Servizi Assistant to join the Servizi Team at Portofino - Hamilton, QLD. Reporting to, and working closely with the Servizi Concierge, in this role you will support residents and enhance their experience of additional services (Servizi). The Servizi Assistant performs tasks, based on what experiences the resident has purchased as a service, from a variety of options tailored to their preferences.

These tasks and experiences are service based and require a very high level of quality customer service and personalisation. The tasks performed may on a 1:1 basis, within smaller groups, or on external outings and events.

The Servizi assistant will always display a high level of professionalism, and uphold resident safety, respect, and dignity. The Servizi Assistant will escalate to care and clinical staff in the case where a resident requires hands on personal care.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to our residents.
- Promote the health and wellbeing of our residents and act as their champion.
- Deliver quality Companionship in 1:1 experience that is meaningful and tailored to the resident and their preferences/ needs.
- Support the resident/s and enhance their experience of events, outings, and other visits.
- Appropriately communicate with and learn about each individual resident, as a person, who is being supported in the enhanced experience.
- Be aware of and follow all strategies regarding resident risk, including dietary restrictions or modification, alcohol consumption, mobility etc.
- Uphold, ensure, and advocate for resident privacy, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Ensure the completion of relevant documentations such as daily progress reports and charts.
- Escalate any feedback or complaints received to the Facility Manager in a timely manner.
- Reasonable Ad hoc tasks within your scope of work.

**To be successful in this position you will need**:

- A personal philosophy and practical approach that is compatible with the Vacenti values which ensure respect for the dignity, privacy and individuality of residents and staff.
- Customer Service experience especially within hospitality, retail, or other service-related businesses.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and effective interpersonal skills.
- Calm and caring approach to the residents and staff.
- To be considered for this opportunity you must have the right to live and work in Australia. If you are successful, you will be required to obtain a national police clearance prior to commencement.
