**About the branch**
The Finance Property and Procurement Branch provide critical services for the agency and the AIC. The Branch requires a wide variety of skills and experience in order to provide the following functions
- Budget management and reporting e.g. input to portfolio budget statements, management reporting
- Financial reporting e.g. monthly and annual financial statements
- Financial operations e.g. accounts payable and receivable, cash management
- Taxation, travel and credit card services
- Business support e.g. fleet, mail, stationery, office services
- National property projects e.g. fitouts, relocations
- Procurement services
- Language services (linguists)

**About the role**
The Property Officer will support the delivery of the national property strategy by providing administrative support for day to day property maintenance, leasing and contract management of outsourced property provider. The Property Officer will also assist and contribute to the delivery of pre-defined set objectives, priorities and deadlines for property projects and refurbishments.
- Will oversee facility management services and supervise staff
- Assists with financial processing and procurement activities associated with national property portfolio
- Provides administrative, organisational, and project support for the national property and accommodation portfolio including preparation of property reporting such as Australian Government Property Register and lease management
- Can establish and maintain internal and external liaison relationships particularly with property providers and contracted consultants

**Desirable skills/experience**
- Previous Property experience will be highly regarded
