**Client Details**

We are seeking a **Settlement Officer** for our client in their equipment finance team based in Sydney. This position is responsible for checking all the equipment lease and loan documentations.

**Description**

**Your main responsibility includes**:

- Input equipment finance transactions into the lease administration system.
- Register or check that security interests (PPSR) have been correctly registered
- Respond to client inquiries regarding the administration of their equipment lease/loan facility
- Check that payments received from customers are captured by the system.
- Provide contract payout quotes to customers
- Liaise with customers to obtain certificates of insurance including request for renewal.
- Ensure all lease, HP, CM & OL documents received from customers are scanned and filed in e-records system
- Ensure all original (hard copy) lease, CM, HP & OL documents are stored in secure filing system
- Work closely with an accountant to enable timely preparation of monthly financial statements and GST returns

**Profile**

**In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths**:

- Experience as a settlements officer in an equipment finance company or the equipment finance division of a bank
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to details
- Ability to work within a team and flexibility to take on various duties
- MS Outlook, Word & Excel skills
