**Workforce Compliance Specialist**

The Star Entertainment Group is seeking a Workforce Compliance Specialist who is experienced in delivering and maintaining compliance processes and analytics across multiple functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a system framework that ensures The Star’s compliance in regulatory and operational requirements. This involves award and payroll compliance and executing Workforce Planning projects end-to-end.

A permanent Full-time role at either our Sydney, Brisbane, or Gold Coast locations

**Key Responsibilities (not limited to)**:
Award Compliance
- Conduct investigation to identify root cause of wage compliance issues and implement key controls to mitigate recurrence.
- Implement procedures and provide guidance for new technologies, new business and regulations relating to Wage assurance.
- Assist for the timely completion of all relevant BOOT requirements across all awards. This includes maintaining software and databases for analytics to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Engage with key stakeholders through reporting to drive standardisation in relation to compliance systems, SOPs, and award compliance practices.

Payroll Compliance & Operations
- Conduct investigation to identify root cause of payroll issues and implement key controls to mitigate recurrence.
- Conduct tests to ensure pay and EA rules are tested and implemented as per requirements within rostering tool.

**What are we looking for?**
- Background in Workforce Compliance and knowledge of EEO, employee classification, wage, and hour laws.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and delivering compliance programs.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders in driving change and adherence across business functions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss complex legal concepts.
- Compliance background - knowledge of compliance software and tools advantageous.
