**Join Our Team as a Branch Librarian**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality customer and library services, including lending, information, programs, and technology
- Lead and develop a team to provide innovative and customer-focused public library services
- Promote library resources, services, and programs to the community
- Maintain branch library facilities, equipment, and resources

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree or post-graduate qualifications in Library & Information Science or related field _(Council may consider applicants nearing completion of qualification)_, and eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library & Information Association (ALIA).
- Experience in leading and motivating staff in a busy environment
- Proficiency in library systems and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Working With Children Check

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated on Monday 24th June 2024.
- **Package**:$88,038 - $93,324 gross p.a. (full time equivalent) plus 11% superannuation.
- **Hours of work: Temporary part-time opportunity. 14 hours per week working across Monday and Tuesday, (shifts will be in line with operational requirements and libraries opening hours, which span from 8am - 9pm). Position expected to be available up to 12 months.**:
