Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,800 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are currently seeking to appoint a **Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator (Primary School) **for 2025. This is a government-funded whole-school position based at our Drouin campus.

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the health and wellbeing curriculum as per the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative funded by the Victorian Government.
- Ensuring that the health and wellbeing area is well administered, and that curriculum is planned and delivered
- Providing overall coordination of the health and wellbeing area of the curriculum
- Overseeing the development of written programs and curriculum, ensuring that the curriculum is planned and taught from a Christian worldview perspective
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Well informed of current educational practices and philosophies both within the Christian school movement and alternative education systems
- Highly competent teacher who demonstrates leadership in the specified curriculum areas
- Ability to build strong partnering relationships and communication channels with staff members

Successful applicants will need to be in agreement with and model Chairo’s Statement of Faith.
