**Your New Role**

As a BAM Accredited Ecologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting ecological assessments and surveys in alignment with BAM standards and guidelines. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us understand and mitigate the potential environmental impacts of various projects. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including planners, engineers, and scientists, to ensure that projects are executed with utmost consideration for ecological sustainability.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Conduct ecological surveys and assessments in accordance with BAM accreditation standards.

Evaluate the potential ecological impacts of development projects and propose mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with project teams to integrate ecological considerations into overall project planning and design.

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing survey findings, impact assessments, and recommended actions.

Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to ecological assessments.

**For You to be Successful**

Qualifications:
BAM Accreditation is required.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Proven experience conducting ecological surveys and assessments.

Strong understanding of local and national environmental regulations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interactions.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Proficiency in relevant ecological survey and analysis tools.
