Objectives- Provide high level secretariat support to the Bank's First Nations Advisory Panel, including the coordination of meeting papers and responsibility for travel logistics and arrangements.- Coordinating the Bank's representation to the Central Bank Network for Indigenous Inclusion, in partnership with the First Nations Employee Resource Group (ERG) sponsor.- Drive the Banks’ reconciliation process by liaising with departments to identify their targets for the Reconciliation Action Plan; collate data and report to Reconciliation Australia; provide reporting to the Banks’ Executive on progress towards goals.- Plan and deliver events and activities as identified in the Banks' Reconciliation Action Plan. Ensure the Bank's First Nations objectives are communicated and implemented at the department level and are aligned to the department and Bank strategy.- Establish and maintain positive relationships with people leaders within the Bank, acting as the central point of contact within HR and as secretariat on Bank-wide First Nations objectives.- Partner with the HR and relevant departments and business units to ensure alignment of strategic areas across the Bank.-
- Ensure Board and committee records are maintained.

Technical Capabilities- Demonstrated experience in providing a high level of administrative and secretariat support to an Executive level.- Previous experience supporting Boards, Committees or Advisory Panels. Advanced ability to manage data and information.- Knowledge of financial administrative procedures.- Experience in planning and organising internal and external events.- Practical knowledge and extensive experience in booking/meeting/events management and related software systems.- Ability to work in a team environment, support, and where necessary guide others to succeed in their tasks and objectives.- Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion.- Knowledge and understanding of the functions and operations of the Reserve Bank, or a willingness to learn.- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.**Qualifications**:
- High school qualifications or equivalent with course work in business curriculum or relevant work experience (Desirable).- Relevant administrative qualifications (Desirable).

Other Position Details

Knowledge of First Nations/Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses and suppliers is highly desirable.

Networks and contacts with First Nations/Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, groups and communities is highly desirable.

Knowledge and understanding of First Nations/Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, cultures and the issues that affect them is highly desirable
