**WHY YOU WANT THIS ROLE**

Work for really lovely, down-to-earth, unpretentious individuals to assist with managing their office and extensive holdings. This includes a property portfolio (development and management), private lending and business investments. As a result, this role best suit somebody that has a background in banking and property along with standard EA duties.

Handover will be a breeze, as the current EA is still with the company, so you will come onboard as a very welcomed additional support. You will be working in partnership with this EA, who is a delight to deal with and an integral part of the business. Despite this partnership, your role is relatively autonomous and would suit someone who likes a peaceful environment where they can focus on doing an exceptional job. The team describe themselves as “just like family” and there is no competition, everyone pitches in.

Located in the southern suburbs; they are very close to the river and surrounded by convenient amenities and great cafes. The building recently underwent a complete refurbishment, so you will start with beautiful, modern surroundings. You can also enjoy free on-site parking.

**THE NITTY GRITTY**

This is a role for an experienced EA who wants to take the pressure off and make life easier for the people you are supporting. As the office is small, you will be wearing multiple hats, but please don’t mistake this as being pulled in multiple directions, your workload is manageable. You will be trusted to assist the Founder, along with other members of the C-suite. As a representative for your executives, stakeholder engagement and the maintenance of relationships with business associates is at the core of this role.

Aside from general EA duties such as diary management, report preparation, and record and data management, you will be involved with the private lending side of the business, mainly in the capacity of overseeing the process and as a communication point. In terms of the property portfolio, you will be liaising with various stakeholders such as property managers, settlement agents and lawyers as required.

There is an ‘Office Manager’ element and you will be tasked with creating manuals, coordinating events and office maintenance (including watering the plants)

It is important for us to mention that you will not be a concierge - no more than 5% of your work will be as a ‘personal assistant’ - (no one is expecting you to buy gifts for family members, just the occasional run to Garden City for coffee pods)

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

You absolutely must be an experienced Executive Assistant, with unquestionable ethics, professionalism, and decorum. Confidentiality comes completely naturally to you along with exceptional grammar and spelling. Your ability to work autonomously and use your initiative and follow up with stakeholders will be the key to success in this role, as are your well-developed administrative abilities in records keeping, word processing (MS Office), high-quality communication, and organisation.

You are required to have a driver’s licence as there can be a bit of running around and be willing to provide a National Police Clearance towards the end of the recruitment process.
