Dog Grooming

**About Us**:
The Dog Ranch is a busy, bustling doggy daycare where we care for up to 57 dogs a day, providing them with play, care, and attention in a safe, fun environment. We cater to all breeds, both small and large, and are looking for an experienced and passionate **Groomer** to join our team Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a talented new groomer, we’d love to hear from you.

We are offering two options for this role:

- **Rent Our Grooming Area**: Utilize our fully-equipped grooming space for your business.
- **Per Dog Pay**: Work as an independent contractor and get paid per dog groomed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide grooming services for a variety of dog breeds and sizes, including baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and other grooming tasks.
- Ensure all dogs are groomed safely, with care for their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and adhere to safety standards.
- Communicate with dog parents about the grooming process, offer recommendations, and ensure they are satisfied with the services provided.
- Handle dogs of all temperaments and sizes in a calm and professional manner.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a dog groomer with a solid understanding of breed-specific grooming styles.
- Comfortable grooming dogs of all sizes (small to large) and temperaments.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently, with the option to rent our grooming area or be paid per dog.

- **Option 1: Rent Our Grooming Area** - Rent the grooming space at a competitive rate and set your own schedule.
- **Option 2: Per Dog Pay** - Get paid per dog groomed, with the potential to earn a competitive income based on your grooming volume.

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Freelance

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster

**Experience**:

- Pet grooming: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
