**About the Centre/Service**

Warrandyte Kindergarten is a community-based kindergarten managed by a voluntary committee of parents. It offers three
- and four-year-old kindergarten programs and an extended care program. In 2019, we were rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard in all areas. We are a well-established kindergarten that has been part of the Warrandyte community for over 60 years. We are set in a beautiful, natural setting and we provide a warm, caring, positive environment for everyone involved with the service. Our programs are inclusive, flexible and are based on acceptance of, and respect for, the diversity of each child and their family regardless of ability, gender, race, language, culture or economic status. **Description**

Warrandyte Kindergarten is seeking an Administration Officer with a deep understanding of the early childhood sector who is keen to work with our parent-run committee and small group of educators. In your role as Administration Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Warrandyte Kindergarten complies with all regulatory requirements. This includes maintaining up-to-date policies and documentation such as staff records and enrolment files. You will manage the enrolment process and will often be the first point of contact for families wishing to enrol at our service. You will assist the committee and staff with the annual parent survey, organisation of the AGM, reviewing the QIP and other tasks as required. Knowledge of KIMS and NQAITS is highly desirable.

**Additional Requirements**

You must be highly organised, efficient, have excellent writing skills and attention to detail. You must also have strong computer skills and an ability to learn systems quickly. You must have a strong understanding of all regulartory requirements relating to the early childhood sector and must be familiar with the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards. The role is flexible in its hours and days, but a majority of hours must be spent on-site at the kindergarten.
