**A day In the Life of a Fraud Risk Specialist**

This is a second-line role focusing on how the business managed Fraud and Corruption and supports financial crime risk assessments on products and services.

Focusing on policy maintenance, data analytics, oversight, and reporting, you will contribute to part of a larger group risk team within operational risk and assurance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide oversight on fraud detection and prevention methodologies and systems.
- Maintain risk and control libraries for fraud risk and financial crime
- Maintain and develop key risk indicators and risk appetite metrics.
- Conduct financial crime and fraud risk assessments on products and vendors.
- Design and deliver governance and data-driven reporting for senior management.
- Provide SME for both fraud prevention and financial crime detection controls.
- Keep abreast of global fraud regulations, sanctions, and AML industry developments.

**Desired Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in data, governance, risk management, business, law or relevant.
- Proven experience in a Fraud risk role in the financial services sector (Banking/Insurance/Superannuation) ideally in a 2nd line role.
- Experience delivering fraud risk strategy and educating teams on financial crime risks.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments on products and services.
- Worked with data and technology for fraud prevention and detection.
- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong presence and articulation when dealing with stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and brings a collaborative approach.
