Description: The primary purpose of this role is to act as second in charge to the Team Leader. This role will be the first point of contact for all team members, first level work related questions and clarifications. This role is a development and succession plan into other leadership roles within Retail or Altogether Teams.

This role is required to support and oversee all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and accountabilities outlined in the respective Agent L1, L2 & L3 Position Description. In addition, they are required to also support additional leadership activities and manage the day-to-day operations of the team in support of the Team Leader.

This position requires a strong customer and people focus and commitment to ensure that KPIs, goals and targets are met and reported on. The 2IC is responsible for implementing strategies that team members use to achieve their goals, assigning tasks based on each member’s strengths and skills and offering and/or sourcing the training necessary. They are responsible for inspiring and motivating team members with regular encouragement, keeping the enthusiasm going by providing individualized coaching when needed and creating a trusting culture.

All functions are to be performed in accordance with each client’s contract specifications, Altogether’s company policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the company.
