**Senior Part-time Bookkeeper - 3days/week**

- Integrated financial services firm which means the team are structured into multi-disciplinary teams (Accounting, Private Wealth, Live Accounting, Lending) and within those teams we have disciplined based workshops.

**About the Role**
- **Providing end-to-end bookkeeping services -** from bank reconciliations and payroll, to accounts payable and management reporting, you’ll be the frontline support to businesses from across Australia.
- **Working closely with clients - **providing proactive updates, addressing their queries and creating a positive and memorable client experience.
- **Working collaboratively with your team - **providing support to the Bookkeeping team, and technical assistance, training and coaching to junior team members**.**:

- **Working with colleagues across the firm - **ensuring truly integrated advice is delivered at every opportunity.
- **Providing critical workflow support - **planning and managing jobs, allocating tasks and ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget.
- **Following and constantly improving process and procedure - **ensuring internal functions and outgoing advice are technically and legislatively sound, meet internal ‘next practice’ standards and foster a culture of compliance to relevant regulation.

**Requirements**:

- **Education - **Bachelor Degree (major in Business, Commerce or Finance preferred).
- **Experience - **Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial bookkeeping or public practice.
- An eagerness to facilitate an engaging client experience.
- An all-round ‘people-person’ with strong advisory and rapport-building skills.
- Strong technical abilities, including understanding of payroll processing and balance sheet work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail, nicely balanced with a commercial understanding.
- Excellent prioritisation, time management and workflow planning abilities.
- Proven respect for process and procedure, suited to our highly-regulated profession.
- Demonstrated tech know-how and general computing skills, including:

- Advanced Understanding of Xero
- GSuite for Business (Sheets) preferred
- Experience managing databases and running calculations in spreadsheets.
