Comtex has a unique opportunity for a skilled and motivated Security Technician to work at an iconic and internationally recognised site in Sydney.

This is a full time position working Mon-Fri including public holidays from 2pm to 10pm.

Key responsibilities include
- Response and rectification of Reactive Maintenance call-outs
- General advice;
- Assistance in adjusting the security system set ups to allow for streamlining the operations of the systems and reduction of nuisance alarms.
- Running reports as directed to assist the Contractor in performing their works more effectively;
- Assisting with schedule adjustments, access passes and audits as requested. For example, adjusting doors held open times on selected doors, including selected doors in zones that have alarms shunted during the day, repointing a camera field of view etc.; and
- Any other tasks as requested by the site.

Gallagher, Genetec and/or OneView experience / certifications highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney City, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
