We are a large Club nestled right on the waterfront at Ettalong Beach, overlooking Broken Bay and Lion Island, with views south to Palm Beach. The ferry from Palm Beach travels directly to Ettalong Beach, which is where you will find us.

On the same grounds, is Mantra at Ettalong with gorgeous accommodation, and where we also deliver meals as part of our room service offering.

We are now seeking to appoint **Casual Operations Attendants, **in a variety of exciting roles across a range of areas within the Club, to join our friendly team.

**Who are You?**

You are passionate about customer service, ensuring that our members and guests feel welcomed, so that they can enjoy all of our Club’s facilities.

**Your day to day**
- You may work in our Bistro and Café
- You may work in our Beverage service areas
- You may work on general duties, ensuring our venue is spotlessly clean
- Perhaps you have experience using a microphone and enjoy promotions
- You may have experience in gaming operations and are looking for a new challenge
- You may work within our gaming areas and have experience here
- You may be ensuring our wedding and conferencing guests are well looked after and you will be happy to provide tray service for drinks
- You will be happy to wipe over tables and chairs; push chairs in and you’ll take delight in ensuring that everything is neat and tidy
- You may provide table service for event guests and undertake general waiting and service duties
- You will be able to carry three (3) plates (Catering)
- You must be able to display a level of physical fitness, as this role can be demanding

**What do we need from you?**
- Certificate II or III Hospitality Qualifications (preferred)
- Experienced in functions and conferencing (desirable)
- Experience in Club operations (preferred), however we are willing to train you if you are eager to learn and you align with our vision and values
- Experience in Barista Skills will be highly regarded
- Safe Food Handling/Food Safety Accreditation (preferred)
- Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol **(RSA) NSW Competency Card is mandatory**:

- Certification in Responsible Conduct of Gambling **(RCG) NSW Competency Card is mandatory**:

- Previous customer service experience in food and beverage operations (highly desirable)
- A strong work ethic, reliable, trustworthy, and able to work unsupervised, with a positive attitude and complete commitment to your role
- Able to work well under pressure
- Someone who can work well within a team environment
- Someone committed to working weekends and can stay back when required - **minimum availability required is from Friday afternoon until close of trade on Sunday, school holiday periods and public holidays including Christmas Day and New Years Eve (you need to be available at these times)**:

- Full availability will be highly regarded
- Depending on the client requirements/club requirements/role requirements, some shifts may start at 0600am and finish at 330am
- you will need to be flexible in your availability to meet with operational demands
- Excellent presentation and attention to detail
- High level of self-motivation
- The ability to set up conferencing and the pack-down of conferencing/events, if working within conferencing
