**Location Profile**:
Arthurs Creek Primary School is a small school in Arthurs Creek within the Nillumbik Shire.

In 2024 the school will have an enrolment of 54 students and will be organised into three grades. The school has both full time and part time teachers and qualified Education Support Staff to support student learning. Small class sizes are a school priority to support student learning. Specialist areas include AUSLAN, PE, and STEM. Our focus going forward, is to embed PLC practices, MiniLit, develop our teaching and learning practices, with a focus on Literacy and Numeracy and incorporate the Berry Street Education Model along with Zones of Regulation.

Our students come from the surrounding areas of Arthurs Creek and bring with them a diverse range of learning needs. A proportion of our students require additional support to be able to engage, achieve and have their wellbeing taken care of. The school espouses the notion that all children have the right to access a quality and equitable education experience. Students that require additional support are supported with an individual education program. To support catch up and extension students identified are supported with an individual education plan. The school's intent is to ensure that all students in our care receive best practice and evidence based pedagogy that is aligned with the Victorian Curriculum so that they develop into independent, curious and resourceful adults.
