Delivery Offsider

City Express is looking for motivated and fit individuals to join our prestige retail delivery service team. You will be providing last mile services including delivery, unpacking, & assembly as well as successfully showcasing our services to retailers and customers alike. This role is an entryway to several industries, including sales, retail, business management, customer relations, logistics, warehousing, and transportation.

**Must be physically fit - this position requires heavy lifting.**

The successful applicant will be required to:
**Liaise with our prestige clients**:

- Communicate with warehouse staff, sales staff, and managers
- Explain features of our delivery services
- Foster strong relationships with our clients
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of their products
- Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Deliver and unpack a wide range of products
- Move large and bulky items as part of a two-person team
- Help maintain & tidy the truck during the day
- Read and complete required paperwork
- Have a sound knowledge of Brisbane’s streets & suburbs, and the surrounding areas.
- Be friendly, helpful, honest, and customer focussed with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Be able to communicate effectively
- Be eager to learn and embrace change with a high level of professionalism.
- Be reliable and hard working
- Care about your personal appearance and have a helpful friendly manner
- Be physically fit; lifting and physical exertion is part of the role

**What we offer you**:

- Above award rates, plus overtime and penalty rates for weekends, plus tips and bonuses
- Certificate III or IV in your choice of: supply chain operations, sales & retail, or warehousing operations

We operate Monday through Friday, and the occasional Saturday with higher rates. Full day availability is required. We are looking for someone who is keen to succeed in this role for at least 1 - 2 years, as this is a permanent, long-term position.
