**Join the Southern Redevelopment as a Principal Health Service Planner**

**About the Role**:
The Southern Redevelopment has been developed to better meet consumer and community expectations and address the current and future demand and needs for healthcare in the southern region, recognising the demographic, technological, social and infrastructure challenges facing SALHN. The Health Service Planning Team is responsible for clinical service planning with SALHN staff, consumers, and community, along with planning to support the infrastructure renewal strategy.

**About you**:

- To be classified as an **AHP4**, you must hold an appropriate qualification in an Allied Health discipline from a recognised tertiary institution resulting in registration or giving eligibility for membership with the professional association.
- To be classified as an **RN4**, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3-years (or full time equivalent) post-registration experience.
- As an **RN4**, you must also have demonstrated advanced level of nursing and or midwifery practice in the care and management of patients in a tertiary hospital setting. Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and or midwives.
- Significant experience in a range of project work, policy development and planning work involving both teamwork and individual effort to achieve significant outcomes.
- Experience in change management approaches.
- Experience in leading and managing teams.

**Please Note**: This position is multi-classed as either ASO8, AHP4 or RN4 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
