Denim Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic & creative Denim Designer to join our team in our Melbourne Head Office based in Richmond.

Working closely and collaboratively with Designers, Product Developers and Garment Technicians, you will be responsible for the creation of our seasonal denim collections across the three denim brands; Lee, Wrangler and Riders by Lee.

We are a small and closely connected team, who celebrate collective intelligence and value the opinions of all team members.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The main function of the Denim Designer is to create and develop high quality, commercial collections that are on time, on budget and adhere to key business objectives.

Working with the Product Developer & consulting the wider team, you are to design seasonal denim indent collections for each of our three brands, encompassing a commercial offering of on trend silhouettes, wash spectrum, fabrics and product detailing.

All product must be Brand relevant and suitable for the existing or proposed distribution and target market. All product will be designed under the guidance and direction provided by the Head of Design.

**ABOUT YOU**

This is a highly collaborative role, and one that requires effective communication, with an ability to effectively plan and organise your workload whilst managing multiple tasks.

We encourage a drive to think outside of the square when problem solving, and welcome someone who isn’t afraid to provide ideas and suggestions to enhance the performance of the team collectively.

We are looking for a person who is aware of movements in the youth fashion market, a knowledge of what is happening in the social world is key for our brands, it is essential for you to be commercially trend aware, along with a substantial knowledge & expertise of the apparel manufacturing process.

Above all, we are looking for someone who thrives being part of a team, and has a strong passion for the Lee, Wrangler and Riders by Lee brands.
