Optical Assistant

**We are currently seeking full time optical assistants to join our growing team in our busy optical practice**

Playing a pivotal role in our stores, you will be responsible for:

- Providing a high-level customer service on the retail floor, and assisting with frame selection and lens recommendations
- Providing in-depth product information and recommending appropriately
- Managing our busy diary of customer appointments
- Adjusting and fitting customers frames - ensuring our product exceeds their expectations
- Ensuring merchandising standards are met, including general cleanliness of the store
- Assisting optometrists with pre-screening assessments and contact lens teaches
- Putting through sales of spectacles and contact lenses

As an Optical Assistant we are looking for the following skills and experience:

- A self-starter who enjoys variety and a busy environment
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- The ability to build genuine and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers
- Work well within a team

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
