- We are looking for a motivated team player with great technical skills and a flexible, can do attitude.- The Mechanical Tradesperson will provide quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs of the plant to ensure operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant and efficient manner.**The key accountabilities of the position are**:

- Routine and breakdown maintenance as well as inspection and monitoring of assets
- Maintain close liaison and co-operation with Operations to ensure optimum equipment performance and availability
- Building strong customer focus between maintenance and operating teams.

**Requirements the successful applicant will need to fill the position are**:

- Relevant trade qualification (i.e. Fitter and Turner)
- Must be able to work within a team environment.
- A desire to work flexibly to ensure safety, environment and production targets are met.
- High-level communication skills, with a proven ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Sound knowledge in the metal processing industry (or similar).
- SAP experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Knowledge or understanding of continuous improvement is desirable, but not essential.
