**ROLE DESCRIPTION**:
As a Poultry Farm Supervisor at Stankovic, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Farm Manager in the comprehensive care and management of chickens. This entails ensuring compliance with processor guidelines, overseeing day-to-day operations, and maintaining the overall welfare of the birds. Your responsibilities will encompass monitoring and adjusting environmental conditions, managing staff, recording data, and maintaining farm documentation.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise the site to ensure continuous attendance by qualified staff when livestock is present.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure all employees are appropriately trained and equipped.
- Execute assigned tasks to uphold environmental suitability, maintain quality, and meet safety objectives.
- Monitor animal health and promptly remove mortalities.
- Adjust controlled environment systems and record relevant data such as bird weights, mortalities, and gas levels.
- Oversee feed ordering and delivery, ensuring timely and correct delivery of feed types.
- Manage gas tank readings, reorder gas, and maintain agreed-upon gas levels.
- Coordinate supply reordering and update receipts as requested by management.
- Supervise, operate, and maintain farm machinery, contributing to preventative maintenance programs.
- Utilise computer systems for shed management and data entry.
- Enforce Biosecurity Levels as directed by management.
- Prepare sheds for bird placement and adhere to placement procedures.
- Participate in company and industry training sessions as required.
- Adhere to all company procedures, Biosecurity measures, and relevant regulations (FREPA, RSPCA, AW).

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Australian Citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum AQF Certificate III in agriculture, farm operations or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the role.
- Thorough knowledge of the management of large-scale poultry farm operations.
- Thorough understanding of the feeding and care of poultry.
- Thorough understanding of the kinds and uses of poultry-raising supplies and equipment.
- Ability to supervise mechanical and carpentry repairs to farm equipment and buildings.
- Ability to organise and direct the work of farm employees.
- Ability to maintain complex records of a research nature in production and test results.
