NSW Department of Education has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the School Infrastructure NSW team as a Senior Group Leader in the Newcastle region.

**About the role**
- Manage the delivery of a range of programs within the designated Asset Management Unit (AMU)
- Provide effective leadership across program, project. stakeholder and contract management and staff development
- Manage emergency response and recovery activities after natural disasters, such as fire, flooding and storms, as they affect school assets and operations.

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

**About you**
- Demonstrated experience in similar Project Management focused role with a focus on Trades and Construction.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Exposure to financial planning, budget management and facilities management policies.
- Exposure to collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project deadlines, accommodation requests, development of lease and license agreements whilst maintain all aspects of service delivery and management issues.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Current NSW Drivers License and willingness to travel across the assigned Asset Management Unit of Hunter/Central Coast region.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
