An exciting opportunity currently exists for motivated, innovative and suitably qualified Clinical Neuropsychologist (or Neuropsychology Registrar) to provide clinical services to Acute and Subacute wards as part of the Neuropsychology Specialist Medical Inpatient Service across all campuses of Western Health.

This is a 0.9 EFT temporary part-time (locum) role.

The Clinical Neuropsychologist will work alongside a supportive multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health, Nursing and Medical Staff, to provide Best Care for the community of the West. In this role you will play a key clinical role in providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, management, counselling, and positive behaviour support for individuals with neurological disorders and brain impairment.

To be successful in this Role you
- Commitment and passion for providing exceptional patient centred care;
- Experience in in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of the cognitive, behavioural and emotional status of referred patients;
- Passion for working with clients with complex and chronic health conditions, in a dynamic clinical setting;
- Commitment to a Psychology Service that promotes an evidence-based, best practice culture, and supports continuous service improvement.
