About the role

We are seeking a values-driven Finance Administrator to provide financial and accounting support to TSA Waverly Temple Corps to meet its reporting and budgeting requirements.

You will successfully
- Process Invoices and Payments after approval, purchase orders, PWO’s, Officer reimbursement forms and Centre Bank Detail
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements as requested and distribute financial statements and records periodically
- Manage end of financial year exercises (schedules, general journals entries, analytical review, and acquittals (COUPA)) and file financial records and other forms
- Maintain tenancy agreements and process payments within due dates and communicate effectively with Tenants
- Assist with budget management in consultation with Corps Officers, DHQ/THQ
- Working in consultation with DHQ/THQ Financial services to Corps Officers on key financial management issues impacting both sites, in achieving TSA mission
- Perform auditing in cooperation with THQ Financial Services
- Perform reconciliations (expenses and income accounts, Bank and Clearing accounts, petty cash, bank account, corporate credit card transactions, 2x cash registers) for all Officers

This is a fixed term (until 31st October 2023) part-time position, based in Glen Waverley, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance to Clerks Private Award Sector 2.

You will have
- Minimum Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping; tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or related discipline
- Solid knowledge of accounting frameworks and principles
- High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external clients
- High level of confidentiality regarding financial information
- Effective planning and organisational skills with an ability to meet deadlines
- Sound computer literacy and solid knowledge of a variety of accounting packages
