Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in the field.

**Duties**:

- Perform fiber splicing and termination for telecommunications networks
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and other networking equipment
- Run cabling and perform low voltage wiring for network installations
- Conduct site surveys and assess customer needs for telecommunication services
- Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment
- Test and troubleshoot telephone lines and network connections
- Provide technical support to customers and resolve any issues that arise
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of fiber splicing techniques and experience with fiber optic networks
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and other networking equipment
- Experience with cabling and low voltage wiring installations
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems, including telephone lines and network infrastructure
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with network installation best practices and industry standards
- Basic electrical knowledge for working with power sources

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
