Assistant Stone Bench Top Installer

Reservoir based Stone bench top installation company needs you to assist with the delivery and installation of stone tops.

We have a position for someone who holds a Valid Driver license, and is a white card Holder.

**Job Title: Assistant Stone Bench Top Installer**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preparation and Set-Up**:Prepare work areas by clearing debris, protecting surfaces, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Review installation plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and required materials.
- **Stone Handling and Cutting**:Handle stone slabs and components safely and with care to avoid damage.

Utilize manual and power tools to cut, shape, and polish stone surfaces according to project requirements.
- **Installation and Fitting**:Assist in lifting and maneuvering stone bench tops into position, ensuring proper alignment and fit.

Secure stone surfaces using adhesives, anchors, and fasteners as directed, following safety protocols to prevent accidents.

Perform quality checks to ensure that installed stone surfaces meet aesthetic and functional standards.
- **Clean-Up and Maintenance**:Remove excess materials, debris, and packaging from the work area, disposing of them properly.

Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in stone fabrication and installation is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy stone slabs and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- $30 - $35 ph
- Full-time position with a 4-day work week (Tuesday to Friday).

**Work Environment**:Stone Bench Top Installers primarily work on construction sites, both indoors and outdoors, where they may be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards associated with the construction industry. The role may involve working in tight spaces or at heights, requiring adherence to safety guidelines and the use of personal protective equipment. Additionally, occasional travel to client locations may be required to complete installation projects.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
