Novus Education (RTO Code: 45082 ) is seeking an ELICOS Teacher who will be responsible for teaching General English and English for Academic Purposes.

Training location is in our Perth Campus (188 Newcastle St, Perth WA). The available position/s are for teachers who will be assigned to student groups that will be timetabled according to the plans and availability.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Delivering ELICOS courses to students from diverse backgrounds through face-to-face teaching at our Sydney CBD campus, creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and assessing students' English language progression, providing individualised support to help them achieve their learning goals, and giving feedback on their performance.
- Contributing to the development of curricula and learning and assessment resources, ensuring they cater to different learning styles and meet ELICOS standards, and utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Engaging in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in English language teaching, collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and resources, and participating in staff meetings.
- Assisting in the administration of placement tests and student orientation sessions, contributing to the continuous improvement of the ELICOS program, and undertaking other duties as assigned by the RTO Manager.
- Ensuring accurate records of students' academic performance and attendance are maintained, providing feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement, and reporting on student absenteeism.

**Necessary qualifications & experience**:

- A bachelor’s degree
- CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
- Graduate Diploma in TESOL
- Master in TESOL or Master in Education (TESOL)
- Minimum of 800 hours of TESOL teaching experience or a TESOL practicum of at least 6 hours, supervised and assessed
- Demonstrated experience in teaching General English
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and computer skills
