My client is a leading Distillery is based in Robinvale, Victoria and is one of Australians leading commercial and craft liquor distillers who is rapidly expanding with the aim to be the 5th of the largest distillery in the world.

Due to this growth they are looking for an experienced Master Distiller / Production Manager to join their team.

This individual will be responsible for the distillery process, operation, manufacture & production along with maintaining the highest quality end product.

**Responsibilities include**
- Manage production teams
- Scheduling and rostering of production staff
- Recruitment and onboarding of staff
- Oversee all aspects of operations, logistics and production in relationship to the distilling process
- Establish, monitor, maintain and review quality control systems, processes and procedures
- Design, implement, monitor and review sampling and recording process
- Customer and stakeholder management
- Managing customers, clients, media and suppliers
- Plan, create and execute training and development for staff
- Maintain maintenance schedules
- Continuous improvement activities

**You will have**:

- Formal qualifications in Distilling of spirits/liquors (whisky is highly desirable)
- Experience working in a leadership / management role
- Current forklift and drivers license
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
- Background in production management (also highly desirable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
