MacKellar is an industry leader in the mining and civil earthmoving industries with over 50 years of experience and a large fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment across Australia. We take pride in our people, our safety culture and maintaining our equipment to a high standard.

We are seeking a Campaign and Brand Specialist who will be responsible for developing and implementing our brand and communication solutions that will support all areas of the business, with a focus on social media and branding, including optimising our profile to the external market to ensure we meet the needs of the business.

Specifically you will:

- Design, develop and implement branding and communications programs that support and enable improved business performance, including early engagement models with emerging talent, including our social media
- Design and support targeted campaigns that meet critical future skill needs.
- Support the strategic workforce and business development planning process and associated activities.

About you

To add value in this role, you will have a strong background in brand, campaign and communications roles with extensive experience in executing 'fit for purpose' strategies across an organisation. Strategic in your approach, you will possess project management skills, with the ability to develop project plans, ensuring required outcomes are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.

Naturally, you will demonstrate:

- Strong background and / or relevant qualifications.
- A proactive and professional working style and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business;
- A strong business acumen, resilience in order to flex and navigate a changing environment and enthusiasm to get involved in broader organisational activities that will contribute to business outcomes; and
- Exceptional influencing skills, with the ability to provide substantial support and advice within a large organisation, demonstrating great flexibility in adapting to the needs of the business.

You will be comfortable working in a role which blends strategy with operational delivery and flexing between the two as the business requires. You will enjoy building strong, productive relationships with various stakeholders (internal / external) and be a collaborative team player with a down-to-earth working style.
