**About Them**:
Working for this leading Engineering Consultancy, who are extremely dynamic and have experienced rapid growth in recent months you wont want to miss out on this unique opportunity. This consultancy is all about a open door policy and a nice social culture. Currently on the look out for a switched on Office Manager to hit the ground running and ensure the smooth running of the office.
**The Role**:
This role will keep you on your toes and everyday will be different, working with a high performing team having two direct reports there will never be a dull day. With some extremely exciting projects coming up your day to day will look like this.
- Assign and monitor the Administrative team responsibilities and tasks (Office Administrator and Reception)
- Evaluate and manage task performance of office staff i.e. coach, mentor, train office staff and manage internal staff
relations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Assist Head of Departments with enquiries and suggestions in which they may have
- Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures
- Organise induction of on-boarding employees (starter packs, Information Technology and desk set-up)
- Ensure and implement filing systems are maintained and current
- Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping
- Analyse and monitor internal processes (in office and project sites) are up-to-date with company policies and budgets
- Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
- Co-ordination of schedules, appointments and bookings
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory and purchasing on a monthly basis within the Office Administration budget
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Facilities management
- Maintain and build a rapport with all company visitors and clients
- Communication and reporting to Senior Management issues which must be raised for attention
- All issues are to be addressed in a timely and effective manner - where alternatives are suggested and actioned
appropriately
- Co-ordinate office staff activities to ensure maximum activities
**You'll Need**:
- 3-4 years’ experience as an Office Manager and experience with accounts is essential
- Experience within engineering or construction is essential
- Experience with a large workload & medium size firm
- Good attention to detail
- Can do attitude
- Proficient across Microsoft Office
