**About CDK Stone**
We've been bringing gorgeous natural stone feature pieces to our clients' homes from Italy, Brazil, Turkey and Spain for over thirty years. Offering stunning marble and granite feature pieces, we pride ourselves on delivering tailored, honest solutions in this luxury industry.
With an audience of high-end architects and interior designers, as well as builders and stonemasons, our team's unwavering dedication to servicing their clients means we continue to experience year on year growth. With over 100 staff and five showrooms across Australia, we've deliberately cultivated a culture of innovation and excellence, that flows down from the top.
**About the Role**
You'll add significant value by:
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment for customers as they enter the showroom, before showcasing the range of stone slabs and tiles to an audience of architects, homeowners, and stonemasons.
- Liaising with the project stakeholders on samples, quotes and lead times in order to provide specific, relevant, and up to date information on their chosen stone product.
- Knowing exactly what questions to ask customers to understand their tastes, budget, and timeline to provide a tailored selection of natural stone products, and make sure they don’t feel overwhelmed by choice.
- Following up with customers by calling them and gaining commitment in order to put their chosen stone on hold through a deposit.
- Coordinating administrative tasks such as processing customer orders, picking up of materials, stock control and external stone sales team support.
- Ensuring the showroom is immaculately presented at all times, including replenishing brochures, restocking items, and tidying.

**About You**
- You may have customer service experience, but you’ve also always had a keen eye for interiors, scrolling through Pinterest in your free time. You’d thrive on the opportunity to combine these passions and start your career in interior design.
- You understand the value of having a genuine conversation with a customer and identifying exactly what they're looking for and you know how to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and envision what they’re going through.
- Prioritisation and time-management come naturally to you. Your motivation drives you to comfortably meet deadlines, whether that's at work or through your studies. This could be either through following a calendar or making sure your to-do list never goes unchecked.
