**The opportunity**
Our highly valued client is a federal government agency, who are seeking a Junior Salesforce Administrator join their environments team and provide support to Salesforce development teams as part of a large Salesforce implementation program.
- Initial 12 month contract with 12 month extension
- Can be Richmond or Geelong based, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home
- Expected daily rate range $500 to $550
**The role**
As a Junior Salesforce Administrator, your responsibilities would include:
- Develop and maintain documentation on processes, policies, and configuration
- Manage Salesforce Sandboxes to support business/development teams
- Troubleshoot identified Salesforce issues and work with external vendors to resolve them.
- Assist in release planning to deploy projects and BAU fixes into Production
- Install and configure 3rd party packages
- Provide support for Salesforce projects and work with team members including Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Cyber Security, Architects and Business Analysts
- Attend daily stand ups to review and discuss improvements
- Assisting with deployment related tasks
- Provide assistance in system integration/configuration tasks
**Skills and experience**
To succeed in this role you will need:
- 1-2 years' experience or more within Salesforce eco-system
- Certified Salesforce Admin ADM201 Certification - achieved or working towards
- Salesforce product knowledge and a strong understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
- Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills and excellent communication skills
- Experience using Data Loader and with Salesforce integration into other technology platforms
- Data management skills, including the ability to do meaningful analysis and manipulate data sets to enable loading into Salesforce using Data Loader or similar tools
- Experience using SCRUM/ AGILE methodologies
