**About the role**

As a growing congregation with an average Sunday attendance of approximately 200 people, we are seeking an additional pastor to join the pastoral team. We are looking for a like-minded individual/s who has a heart for God, a heart for His people and a heart for reaching the lost through evangelism.

In this role you will:

- Actively engage in pastoral care through visitation and coordination;
- Teaching and preaching on a regular basis;
- Outreach into the community through evangelism and relationship building.

This will be a 5-day equivalent position commencing early 2023.

**About you**

To be the right person for this position you will;
- Maintain a deep and ongoing personal relationship with Christ and reliance on His Spirit;
- Identify with the vision, values and mission of this church;
- Communicate effectively with love as well as respect for the congregation and its history;
- Be self-organised with excellent communication and relationship building skills;
- Have a proven track record of effective ministry and mission within a local community, preferably a minimum of three years' experience;
- Hold appropriate theological training (preferred), as is familiarity with the ethos of Churches of Christ;
- Have the right to live and work in Australia;
- Hold a current Australian driving license.

The successful applicant will be required to possess a Blue Card; have a National Police Record Check; sign the Churches of Christ Queensland Code of Conduct for Ministering Persons; and become endorsed as a Ministering Person with Churches of Christ in Qld.
