**About the role**
- Provide supervised medical services to patients.
- Provide clinical leadership to facilitate and support a team approach to the provision of clinical services.
- Participating in relevant multidisciplinary meetings.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ensure the appropriate documentation of clinical care in patients' medical records and database records and ensuring the timely provision of discharge summaries, written opinions and requested medical reports.
- Participate in administrative activities associated with the provision of clinical services.
- Contribute to medical teaching/training programs at postgraduate levels.
- Contribute to the training of other health professionals.
- Supporting relevant clinical research programs conducted in the Hospital.

**Qualification**
- Medical qualifications registrable with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA).

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
- Aged Care Screening check
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
