What does the job look like?

As the Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for the revenue assurance across the enterprise. Key aspects of the role will be ensuring timely invoicing of all Linfox external stakeholders, optimising the billing of the RCTI function in line with new contracts and working with our internal stakeholders ensuring best in class practices are followed when invoicing. You will also play an important part in reviewing, reporting and calling out major anomalies in the Enterprises Accrued Revenue. Key areas:

- Review, chase and monitor Revenue Accruals, ensuring balances are cleared and invoiced within a 7-day period for Transport and 30-day period for Warehousing activities. Ensuring the ageing accruals (31 Days +) do not exceed $1.5m.
- Provide detailed & accurate revenue reports to Linfox internal stakeholders, on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Upload customer RCTI files and revenue accruals to SAP on day received, if required by BU.
- Chair weekly revenue accrual meetings with Business Units to support and advise, working through issues.
- Work on all Revenue related projects across TMS/WMS platforms and drive cultural change within Business Units to ensure every contract when onboarded to a TMS/WMS is automatically billed, ensuring the manual handling reduces.
- Become a centralised point of contact for Business Units when invoices are required to be manually raised. Raising ad-hoc invoices and credit notes as requested by the Business Units within 48 hours.
- Ensure Business Unit’s reduce ageing revenue accruals regardless of what TMS or WHS they use and act as conduit between Group Finance and Business Units for any revenue related issues.
- Review current revenue processes and on a monthly basis provide continuous improvement ideas to management for review.

Are you the one?

You are an analyst and problem solver with strong customer service experience and an ability to identify and respond to Linfox external stakeholders needs to ensure quality and service standards are met. You can demonstrate:

- A few years of proven experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Management or Revenue Accounting process for a large dynamic organisation.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and revenue regulations.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Extensive experience using SAP.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
