Although it is not essential, someone with a strong drilling and blasting background will be highly sought after.

**Reporting to the Drill & Blast Superintendent, you will be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Providing assistance in the co-ordination of on site training and assessing activities
- Conducting workplace training and assessments
- Taking part in the development and continual improvement of training programs
- Maintaining records of all training and assessment activities
- Monitoring national competency standards and implementing across the team

**Experience required**:

- Standard 11 Industry Generic Induction
- Good computer literacy - both MS Word and Excel
- Qualifications in Workplace Training and Assessment (min. Cert IV)
- Ability to work as a team member
- Have a sound knowledge of Drill & Blast equipment
- Aptitude to understand manufacturer's manuals and handbooks
- Strong communication skills
- At least 5 years in a mining or construction environment
