**About the Role**:
This full time, permanent role is based at our Lonsdale depot and is part of the APG Horticulture team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of workers including people with a disability.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Support people with disabilities to achieve their workplace goals
- Use your qualifications to be part of a strong horticultural network
- Delegate tasks to the team and lead by example
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe workable condition
- Provide excellent service to all internal and external customers
- Identify areas of improvement to maintain high quality outcomes
**About You**:
As an experienced landscaper / horticulturalist you will be looking to take the next step in your career. You will have excellent time management skills and problem-solving techniques as well as strong customer service and communication skills. You will also have a positive attitude and desire to support people with disability to achieve their workplace goals.
Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:
- Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture
- Experience with irrigation repairs
- Experience in horticulture / grounds maintenance
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Driver’s licence
- NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- 100 points of identification
