CONTENT & COPYWRITER | SHERIDAN | ULTIMO, SYDNEY
Highly autonomous role for an experienced copywriter to create content that tells captivating brand and product stories, and to build a vibrant and engaged community for the Sheridan brand looking after both digital and non-digital. This is an exciting role for someone who understands brand and that understands how to put the consumer at the heart of what we create. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a business that wants to tell stories with depth and be the change agent of the industry through our community and sustainability initiatives.
You will also have training to be a leader from a communication perspective in the sustainable space through access to our sustainability teams and legal teams as well as partners. You will work closely with our charity partner too on ideation and making sure they are always front of mind.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this fast-paced role will see you ideating and writing dynamic and compelling content for: Sheridan life (blog) EDMs, web tiles, social copy for Facebook and Instagram, product descriptions, SEO and web page copy and blog content and or reviewing recommendations given by agency partners or team members copy. It will also see you collaborate closely with various departments including design eCommerce, graphic design, marketing teams and agency partners.

What experience do I have?
- Tertiary or relevant studies undertaken within marketing, journalism or communications or related discipline combined
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in content writing and or copywriting
- Magazine, fashion, retail and/or agency experience (not mandatory but nice to have)
- Ability to manage multiple brand messaging, each with a different customer demographic who require different “tones”
- Experience in working with ‘creative' brand management on above the line campaigns
