**Assistant Curator - Contemporary Visual Arts**
- Temporary full time position (maternity leave cover), 35 hours per week
- Salary from $1,403.20 - $ 1,613.70 per week + 10.5% superannuation

**About the role**:
We are seeking aa Assistant Curator - Contemporary Visual Art who will work collaboratively to assist with delivering Campbelltown Arts Centre’s contemporary exhibition program, ensuring that the Arts Centre is a successful and thriving arts hub loved by the community.
- Tertiary qualifications in visual arts and equivalent and/or job-related experience.
- Ability to write and research for publications, grants and reports.
- A strong commitment to quality customer service.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to implement and manage projects, including establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of communities and key stakeholders, including artists, art industry personnel, technical personnel and contractors.
- COVID-19 Vaccination or medical contraindication upon commencement (a verification will be conducted on recommended applicants).
- Working with Children Check (a verification will be conducted on recommended applicants). This position has been identified as "child-related employment" under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998.
