Joint Sealer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joint Sealer to join our growing team and complete work on Brisbane Northside. As a Joint Sealing Specialist at Downseal, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. Your expertise in joint sealing interior and exterior finishes will contribute to the flawless appearance and long-term durability of the high-end projects we work on.

Key responsibilities:

- Ensure proper adhesion of sealants to various substrates to achieve seamless finishes on residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Collaborate with team members, site supervisors and other trades, to achieve project objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and rectify any defects to maintain the highest level of quality.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, materials and techniques to continuously improve your skills.

**About you**
- At least one year joint sealing experience in residential and/or commercial construction projects.
- Experience in all aspects of joint sealing, including internals, externals, tilt panels, large flex joints, silicone, polyurethane & fire rated.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
- Current drivers license and own transport

- Casual role with flexibility to work up to 40 hours a week. Our operating hours are generally 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, with the option for weekend work as needed.
- All tools and material are supplied, with the opportunity to get a work van in the future.
