**About the Role**:
Our Loganholme Branch is looking for a Sales Specialist - Golf and Turf

We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Golf and Sports Turf team based out of our Loganholme branch.

The role will be responsible for engaging the Golf and Sports Turf market to build market share and customer acquisitions through structured customer visits, attending field days/ industry events and providing product demonstrations.
You will be highly proficient and proactive in dealing with customers and potential clients in a niche market and assist our customer base in maximising their equipment purchases.

**The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to**:

- Use Company provided systems/tools) to fully document, track, record, follow-up and capture all related sales and Business development activity in a timely and accurate manner. Use of the system should contribute directly to the proposal process, winning the sale, volume, territory awareness, participation, and customer satisfaction.
- Effectively understand and use manufacturers’ programs and resources to increase market share levels.
- Promote whole-goods, parts, and service as a customer solution and build long term relationships within their territory to maximize customer and company profitability to meet sales targets.
- Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends.
- Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer work site.
- Maintain strong knowledge of used equipment values and be able to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
- Work in conjunction with Sales Manager and Sales Administration team, to follow-up and expedite whole goods orders.
- Accountable for timely follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and/or communicate with customers and applicable departments to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment as needed.

**About you**:
You will have great energy, tenacity and be a highly organised person. You’re not an ordinary Sales professional, you thrive on thinking inventively and commercially to drive the business growth and by utilising excellent customer service skills, motivational, coordination and training skills, this role will build long term relationships to maximize company profitability and market share.

**You will bring the following skills and experience to the role**:

- Prior sales experience and/or training (John Deere range of products preferred).
- Greenkeeping or Sports Turf background
- Solid understanding of local market conditions.
- Knowledge of resale values of particular machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
