Junior Animal Attendant

Future Proof is a one-of-a-kind behaviour and training facility with a dog daycare. One goal is to set our Staff, Clients and our fur clients up for success. We pride ourselves on helping dogs learn social cues and appropriate social behaviours. We reinforce calm/relaxation behaviours by building habits with the use of positive reinforcement and negative punishment to achieve results that future-proof clients' dogs. We aim to create calm, confident and socially fulfilled dogs in our daycare as well as in society.

**What we are looking for**:
As a trainee, you will have the potential in future to enter into a formal training contract with an employer, enabling you to complete training towards a nationally recognised qualification for Cert II in Animal Care Services.
- Day to day duties include (but not limited of):_
- In your care, you will be monitoring and fulfilling needs of dogs in the FPTA day care
- Undertaking in all dog daycare activities
- Keeping the environment clean and safe
- Interacting in socialisation activies
- Other duties as required

**About you**

School leavers are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will showcase the following:

- Previous exposure to dogs and passionate when it comes to taking care of them
- Reliable
- Ability to work as part of a team and also autonomously
- Must be physically fit as you will be handling small to medium-sized dogs
- Commitment to both on and off the job training and study
