Lymphoedema Practitioner is responsible for delivering high-quality person-centred therapy with a specific focus on the Lymphoedema Program from our Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC). This role works in close collaboration with a range of health professionals and other community based service providers to deliver the best outcomes for the client, their family and carers. The Practitioner also provides supervision to other staff, Allied Health Assistants' and students as required.
This role is primarily outpatient based but as required, the therapist may be required to provide services to our inpatient and residential facilities (located across 2 campuses).
About you
- Degree in relevant discipline
- Registration with AHPRA or Nursing Board
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register of the Australiasian Lymphology Association (ALA)
- Highly developed skills in contemporary assessment, planning and management of Lymphoedema/Chronic Oedema within an outpatient, inpatient or home setting
- Ability to develop and implement evidence based Lymphoedema services within a multi-disciplinary framework
