Are you a second-year student in Allied Health, Health Sciences, Nursing or Medicine, looking to enter the workforce? We offer a flexible position that allows you to focus on your university work as well. If you already have the Certificate IV in Allied Health, but without podiatry specific skills, we encourage you to apply.
- This role is situated in our High-Risk Podiatry Service, offering opportunities to work with a diverse interdisciplinary team, including vascular surgeons, endocrinologists, infectious disease consultants, diabetes nurse educators, orthotists, orthopaedic surgeons, and administrative staff. With work spanning multiple wards and outpatient clinics, no two days are the same. This position will provide a solid foundation in both hospital and outpatient environments, setting you up for future success. In addition to collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will receive direct support from an Allied Health Professional, regular clinical supervision, and access to ongoing education and training.
- We are seeking someone to assist with our service's ongoing contribution to the Australian Diabetes Foot Registry. You will perform a variety of clinical, administrative, and educational duties to support CHS consumers and staff. You'll implement treatment programs, provide safe assistance, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality improvement activities. Additionally, you'll engage in tasks like creating patient resources and maintaining equipment. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while making a positive impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.
