Warehouse Assistant

Caffe Cherry Beans leads the coffee business in Australia and has more than 47 cafes across the nation and one in Singapore. We are looking for a production and logistics officer to join the team on a full time basis for 5 days a week (Monday 08:00 -16:30, Tuesday to Friday 09:00-17:30).

Your role will be supporting the day to day operation of our roasting facility. You will be required to operate machinery to fulfill coffee production requirements, assist with the roasting of coffee & logistics, and undertake duties as required by Management.
- **Your duties**:_
- Organising and loading of green beans to meet daily production schedules
- Coffee roasting
- Taking and processing orders from clients
- Packing coffee and fulfilling orders
- Liaise with dispatch assistants to supply roasted coffee as needed
- Maintain and follow quality assurance systems
- Assisting with stock movement and receiving deliveries
- Carry out packing and warehousing in preparation for site-specific program and shipment
- Tracking, receiving, and stocking all items ordered
- Plant maintenance and cleaning
- Customer service duties
- Any duties directed by a supervisor
- **Skills required**:_
- Strong Knowledge of the coffee beans and coffee industry
- Roasting experience (desirable)
- Strong initiative with the ability to improve and follow systems
- Problem solving skills
- Competency with computers and software
- Technical skills with machinery and a willingness to learn how they work
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Full driver’s license
- **Ability to commute/relocate**:_
- Rydalmere, NSW 2116: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work(preferred)
