This role is based at Mount Hotham, nestled amongst the Victorian Alps of the Great Dividing Range. It boasts spectacular views, its own airport and a whopping 320 hectares of ski terrain. Hotham is part of Vail Resorts who own and operate ski areas including iconic resorts including Perisher and Falls Creek in Australia as well as Park City, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb and Vail in North America.

The Employee Services Coordinator will provide coordination and direction in the delivery of high-quality HR services through appropriate management of resources and a seasonal team providing general People & Culture support and Employee Services initiatives across the Resort.

**In a typical day in this role, you might**:

- Assist in the coordination and distribution of uniforms and employee housing allocations.
- Assist in the implementation and delivery of Reward and Recognition programs including Epic Service, staff service awards and staff benefits programs.
- Implement and coordinate a staff Events Calendar to provide for an Experience of a Lifetime for all employees.
- Ensure that Workers Compensation claims are appropriately processed and managed to provide staff the optimal pathway for them to achieve a full recovery.
- Provide support to staff and managers on staff conflict, disciplinary matters and where required undertaking investigations into staff incidents.

**To be considered for this role, you should have**:

- A tertiary level qualification in Human Resources is desirable.
- Previous Human Resources related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
